Daniel L. Bey

Partner

Daniel Bey joined the firm in March of 2018 after several years of practice in Urbana and Columbus, and became a partner on January 1, 2020.  Daniel is primarily located in our Urbana office. He focuses his practice on real property transactions and litigation, easement and lease negotiations, corporate planning and transactions, public entity law, royalty litigation, estate planning, and probate litigation. In addition to his law license, Daniel is a licensed Title Insurance Agent with the State of Ohio. Daniel provides extensive experience in negotiating, insuring, and closing agricultural, residential, and commercial transactions.

Daniel frequently presents at CLEs on real property topics and has published numerous articles. Daniel possesses an LL.M. in Democratic Governance and the Rule of Law and served as a Fulbright Scholar in Pristina, Kosovo. Daniel is a life-long resident of Champaign County and spends his free time with his wife, Janelle, and their two children.
